wild goose chase
a new page…
This new year I resolve to quit yearning. There will be no striving to be a better me, and in all fairness, you should remain true to yourself too. Folks who promise to turn over a new leaf, start a fresh page, a blank canvas, a clean slate are nutjobs… who are they kidding? Diets are baloney, self improvement is a millstone, gym membership is a con. The old leaf and I are both getting more broken with time, it is that which makes us interesting.
