I had a plan. I really did. It involved a white plastic trash bag and a black plastic bag, the latter which would be wrapped in orange mesh and maybe with a second piece of a different color orange mesh knotted around it, all of which would be in that patch of light.

Before I set it up, the cat came along. That's the thing about cats, isn't it -- they always come along to see what's going on. I had my camera set up, but I shot a few frames with my phone, then shooed the cat away and got down to business. But I actually like this better than my planned shot.
