Seldon Scott

My locked down days tend to begin early. Normally I'm woken up at 7 a.m. by the alarm but since lockdown there's no need to be up for work any more. My weird, sometimes disturbing, but mostly just weird dreams wake me. This time I dreamt I was flat sharing with 1970's British rocker Alvin Stardust. It was a pretty shabby flat, and that was about it as far as the dream went. Me, Alvin, run down flat with nothing much happening.

I woke, did a little online check of the news and snoozed for an hour or so where another dream saw me riding a scooter up Windy Hill on a completely deserted M62 motorway. It was night time, I hid from the police when they passed looking, I presume, for non essential motorway scooter traffic. Lockdown dreams are very regular, quite vivid but often without much point or plot to them. Something like my life now.
