This photo is one of a pair, literally taken by holding the camera out the window while driving down Highway 1. I always feel blessed by the fact that just outside the burdgeoning town of Santa Cruz the coast is free of condos and filled with organic farms. Home to CCOF, Santa Cruz citizens enjoy a bounty of year round organic produce. There are six weekly farmers markets in town and many of the farms sell community shares which deliver boxes of fresh produce to your door. The area is famous for berries, brussel sprouts, salad greens, artichokes and dry farmed tomatoes.
