Woodland Path

Many New Englanders grew up by the sea. I'm not a native, and I grew up surrounded by hills and woodlands and meadows. I spent much of my childhood tramping around in the woods alone. I still do this, although as I get older I wonder if it's such a smart idea to be on a wooded path, far from anywhere, in a body that is no longer indestructable.
