Skating your way through Life.

It is the only decent photo from the batch I shot today. The weather was dry.Dry, no sun though, mind you.I had been roaming the streets of the city of Sint-Niklaas (Saint-Nicolas) in Belgium for hours on end without actually shooting anything half decent and was on my way back to the trainstation (I had given up hope of shooting anything decent) suddenly this crazy boy came splitting by kneeled down on his skateboard.I just aimed and shot ! I sensed I had something...the flow, the black tube, the electricity box, the stony background surface. You know, sometimes, in a split second you just "FEEL" it.It's hard to describe, you just know.
I went by the cities academy for the Arts. They also do a photography course and I went by for some info because I have my mind set on taking some sorts of formal education in photography. Now, i've been busy on my own mostly, with great feedback sometimes from fellow flickrites but it's not the same as meeting people in real life and all working towards the same goal.I'm in dire need of that kind of interaction because otherwise I keep on muddling on on my own and at a certain point, you just don't seem to improve any more.People need people.
