Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontiers) came to San Francisco with a travelling exhibit on life in a refugee camp. They set up examples of what they would provide in terms of food, shelter, medical care and sanitation facilities.

This is an example of what kinds of shelters MSF sets up in refugee camps. This can be considered a pretty nice one, since a lot of them are usually just plastic sheeting supported by a few poles.
