busker in the skywalk
Greg Fallis
I don't know if this is a sign of the ongoing recession or a sign of entrepreneurial musicianship. But there's something wonderful about folks who pack up their instrument, find a place where passersby will (it's to be hoped) be plentiful, and start making free music in the hope that some of them will be generous. It could be desperation; it could be optimism. Or it could just be somebody who likes the strange, hollow acoustics and wants to practice in front of a live audience--even if that audience hasn't arrived yet.
