a guy and his dogs

Greg Fallis

I was on a pedestrian bridge and saw this guy walking his matched pair of vizslas. He saw me on the bridge with my camera...hesitated a moment...leaned down and spoke to the dogs...then they sort of marched down the walkway. After I got the photo I waved, and he and the dogs scrambled up the hill. We chatted briefly; I let the dogs lick me on the face, and told him he was a lucky man. He grinned and said "I really am, aren't I."
