just a guy sitting by the river

So I had some stuff I had to do today, and since it was Thursday and Utata walks on Thursdays, I meandered down by the river. It was a cloudy, rainy day and I was surprised to come across this guy sitting on the steps by the riverwalk. I asked if I could take his photograph; he said "You gonna make me look sad or stupid?" I said, "Are you sad or stupid?" and he snorted and said "I sure am." So I just shrugged and grinned.

We chatted for a bit and he told me some stuff, then said "You not gonna repeat that, are you?" I told him I wouldn't...so I'm not. As I was getting ready to leave I asked for his name. He said, "Is this gonna be on the Google?" I said, "Maybe. Probably." He said, "Then I'm just a guy sitting by the river."

This is what I love about walking around with a camera.
