A Dog Walking Day

After the recent storms, today was the first real day of winter. A day for wearing coats and hats to keep warm rather than keeping dry. A day of long shadows, frost on the ground and clouds of breath in the air. A day for forgetting you'd set the camera to ISO 1600 for another shot, wondering why you had to crank up the shutter speed and stop down the aperture to get a decent exposure and then liking the accidental graininess anyway.
