cold beer

Earlier, while taking a late afternoon walk through the Iowa State Fairgrounds, I saw a man and a woman both dressed in red who were about to pass in front of a building that was startlingly white with a red trim that almost exactly matched the colors the pair wore. The sun was setting and the shadows were brilliant and I put myself in a place where I could photograph the two in front of the white building. But before they got to the building, they decided to cross the street and take another route, which was deeply disappointing.

But a few minutes later this woman came walking by, showing absolutely no interest in cold beer. So all in all, it was a pretty good day.
