The Storm Approaches

Sean Scanlon

While there is no way to recreate the immensity of this scene in a camera...viewing large with a black background does a little more justice.

'The Storm Approaches' On Black

While visiting Milford Sound we were informed that it had not rained for a few days, a rarity. As the boat wound it's way through the sound and headed back towards port we were chased by the oncoming clouds, creating a magnificent sight as you looked back towards where the sound met the sea.

I can recall when taking this picture that I wish I had black and white film. I guess that's the nice part about photo cd's and photoshop...I was able to get the black and white shot I was thinking of oh so many years ago!
