about fifteen years ago, a nameless orange penguin moved in with me and found himself a place in my penguin colony. there he led an uneventful life until some time last summer when he got a bit bored and decided to travel with me.

on our first trip to bavaria and bohemia a friend of mine named him xaver [pronounced: ksafer] - a suitably bavarian name to mark the occasion.
