Don Jail Cell

Norm Soley

In 2001 the Don Jail was open for a very small number of people to tour during Doors Open. Here I am in one of the regular cells. It's not really clear but it's only about 3 feet wide. Two prisoners were locked into each cell overnight, during the day the cell doors were opened and the prisoners were allowed into the "day room" which is basically a wide corriodor connecting all the cells.

Update 01/2010: Lots of traffic recently because of events at the NEW JAIL NEXT DOOR. To be clear this picture is of a cell in the historic Don Jail, closed years ago.
