A carved stone notice at the Bergen Belsen Concentration Camp Memorial. There are a lot of gravestones to individuals who died at Belsen, but these were put up posthomously and there is no way to know where the people were actually buried. This is in part due to the way that they were buried in mass graves, sometimes in their thousands.
