Death of a Polaroid

Back in my high school Eng. Lit class we studied 'Emma', a novel dripping with delicious irony. Mr Tong, our teacher, had this to say on attempting irony in our written work. "Don't. It's difficult." It's true, it's so easy to get the tone wrong and be misunderstood. But I got lucky in searching for an example of visual irony. I walked past a charity shop selling this book, 'Death of a Polaroid'. Take the pic, push the photo through the in-phone faux-polaroid filter, easy peasy. Jane Austen, Mr Tong, eat your hearts out.
