Lac Blanc
So called because it is covered with snow early in the season. I arrived late!
August is renowned for thunderstorms and the roiling clouds hid the big snowy mountains from view. But that didn't stop a bunch of photographers from loitering around until we'd left. Because this is the best spot whatever your camera happens to be.
