One aspect of my street photography raison d'être is historical documentation. I am always looking out for scenes or situations that would provide a temporal marker. The ubiquity of cell phones is such an artifact. You'll probably be able to pinpoint the decade of this photograph many decades from now. It's definitely a twenty-first century photograph after its first decade.
