Unfortunately nature is not always so kind. Although it left this little glasslike gem on top of a long daffodil leaf, it was only still there because rain has flattened many of the spring plants in the garden. Nature is a fickle creature, but even in spite of this it’s still possible to see the beauty that’s there even after some minor destruction. We may not have many colourful spring flowers if this weather keeps up. It can be disappointing, but there are always the little flowers that will hang on no matter what Mother Nature decides to throw at them.
