Daydreams aren’t--and shouldn’t be--limited by the cold physics of reality. I could be insideoutside in my thoughts; could I visualize that through photography? I shot photos of ‘outside’, all of them within a few feet of ‘inside’. By layering those outside images with self-portraits (self-portraits are inherently ‘inside’ one’s own head), I tried to create the illusion of being insideoutside.
Sometimes I brought the cat along.
