We are a strange species, human beings. Second Nature is what you might call human culture. First Nature, our shared biological kinship with the other species on this planet, is the profound matter our minds spring from. It allows us to create and transmit our emotional experiences to future generations, through our culture using artifacts such as books. And to think, our Second Nature can be changed by a First Nature meme like a coronavirus.
