Last month I watched "Tales From the Loop". It was a different kind of sci-fi, more emotional and not about aliens and future tech, although the tech is the basis of why the characters are doing what they do. To think it was a television series based on a book of paintings is awesome. I ordered it and the next book by Simon Stålenhag. The world he creates is a different sort of one where strange objects are the backdrop to our mundane lives. To imagine like this, is what we will require soon.
