Catch me if you can

So. What’s in the suitcase, then? Probably a few changes of clothing, a smaller bag with cosmetics and toiletries, another pair of shoes (maybe two), a sweater in case it turns chilly. Probably.

But maybe

Three pounds of counterfeit twenties. Or Bibles for the natives. A Walther P22 with a 3.4 inch barrel, a balaclava and dark clothing, and a small zippered pouch containing a syringe and a vial of some light-green liquid. Four hundred and eighty-seven dollars of highly illegal Argentinian fireworks. A yoga mat, a zafu and zabuton, a Mongolian katak, incense, eight kinds of herbal tea and an oddly-shaped kettle for brewing. Twelve years of unfinished manuscripts and a box of matches. Five drawings by Degas (included La Sortie de Pesage), last seen in the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in 1990.

What’s in the suitcase? Possibilities, darling. Possibilities.
