Olio

This is where Iron Photographer takes you.

You need a red rag, but not a bull. I suspect — though I can’t prove — that the rag has to be silk, torn from a scarf bought at a Moroccan souk.

You need two hands, but more than one person. I suspect — though I can’t prove — the hands are connected, part of the same family of hands and feet that that have assisted with Iron Photographers over the years. Hands that belong to loved ones who know what they have to do and are happy to play their part.

You need oil. I suspect — though I can’t prove — it has to be olive oil bought on a Tuscan weekend trip.

And you need ideas, inspiration, the vision that will turn three elements

1 – something ripped or torn

2 – a bottle

3 – one element intruding into the frame

into something as full of life and fun and loveliness as this.
