Dogs

You might say it’s the camera angle that emphasises the prone position of the dogs. How it demonstrates their mood. The poised, alert, yet bored attitude.

Or the lines trisecting the scene, the tricolor of red wall, street grey and brushstrokes of wild green.

You might be drawn to their triangular ears, neither cocked nor drooping. The Zorro-like eyes of the dog on the right.

These dogs are no strays, but their attitude dares anyone to try to own them. These are top dogs – and they own that knowledge, from the tips of their ears to the tops of their toes claws.
