Water overwhelming

Sometimes you can settle down to watch a sunset, but pay almost no attention to the sky.

You are simply transfixed by the graceful symmetry formed by a tree and its own reflection. You marvel at the golden smoothness of water. The orange highlights of leaves.

All depends on the setting sun, and though it’s not true to say you don’t give it a second thought, your eyes are elsewhere, exploring the curves and forms in the landscape as they are given renewed vigour in the dying light of the day.
