Two By Two : Gears

Created for Utata's Diptych project.

Here I've combined this pronto-plate created image with its original digital source. The combination of the two images together illustrates the process of decay.

The process: Shot original digital image. Printed onto a pronto plate (sheet of mylar) with a laser printer. Dampened pronto plate with sponge. Ran ink roller over top - thus ink only sticking to laser ink. Cranked through traditional print press onto newsprint.
