This is one of a series of shots I have of windmills. In the arid southwest we have been using windpower to pump water for over a hundred years. These windmills dot the rural landscape in both ranching and farming communities. This shot was entered in the Cochise County fair and took 2nd in the B&W category. This shot, farm1.static.flickr.com/22/37222522_6184df43bf.jpg took Best in Show Color Digital - and a shot of chilies took a first in color digital. I'm pretty stoked!
