What Would Happen if...?
So, rather than searching for deep meaningfulness, I decided to merely goof off: if you change one aspect of an idea, what will be the outcome? I played around because after all, the creative process is supposed to be fun, right?
I dillydallied. I twiddled the knobs, I mused over the “what would happen ifs.” It became a game. I turned the knobs back left, fine right, right right, right coal, right left, left right, right right, left left… like a conceptual busy box for grown ups.
It was fun but ultimately I became bored with turning the knobs. I was doing it by rote and it was now just work.
