MindScapes
In PlaceScapes, we use the camera in an attempt to organize the physical world. In MindScapes, we use the camera to step beyond the mundane world — to roam outside the limitations of the world as it is and into the world as we interpret it.
It’s not abandoning the “rules” of landscape photography; it’s making photographs as if those “rules” never existed. It’s a chance to extend our reach, to intensify or amplify our vision, to broaden the range of the predictable, and see the world … differently.
