Placescapes: Still spinning after 150 years (infrared)

I was recently passing the Atchison, KS railroad bridge when it opened for an imminently passing barge. Said boat did not appear before I had to move on. A series of IR filtered images were taken then stitched into this panorama with Hugin.

Blue sky and water achieved by hue rotation in DXO Photolab 2 (in the HSL menu). Jason Odell has a page describing many other ways to accomplish the same thing:
