Dreams I Might Have Had
Shangri La
The children ran. They laughed and danced and chased the colors off the flowers. The colors twirled through the air, over the grass. The water was appleblueseagreen. It smelled of roses, daffodils, dahlia's, violets, lilies , jasmine but mostly roses.
A heavy scented perfume.
Laughter fell like diamond doves upon silk damask, play had begun : Some would hide behind Loukoum rocks whilst others rode on elastic obsidian fish. And some would fly, their senses intertwined.
Round and round and round it went, spinning with joy. This bewilderment of the senses; an hymn to youth, an ode to life and the living.
