Dreams I Might Have Had
Or had I ?
I dozed off, a state of half-sleep. I elongated myself from myself. Half Genie, half man and suddenly stood beside my bed, beside me ! Now I knew I could let myself float through the room, through the closed windows if I just put my mind to it...hell, I could even walk through walls and molest other peoples wife's ! I floated out through the windows into the night. The only thing I had to make sure of was to keep myself elevated so my enemies could not reach me nor haunt me.
I proceeded through the dark sky in the direction of the old bank building looking for angst. A woman, alone in her room. Or a woman in her room with the snoaring, blissfully unaware husband asleep in the bed next to her.
Keeping afloat was, at times, difficult. Finding the way back home, was too.
I woke up, suddenly, without warning, soaking. A ward full of men, sleeping their dreams.
Or had I ?
