property appraisor

Political signs and ads can bring notoriety and name recognition. It can also make for some striking ironies. This sign is posted right in front of an abandoned foreclosed home in my neighborhood. The weeds are high, the vines are taking over. Scrap wood and metal crowd the driveway. Forgotten christmas lights hang from the sagging eaves. This could be a nice house, could fit in to the rest of the neighborhood with the right owners and a little TLC. The sign for Sharp, Property Appraiser is a disgusting reminder of local politicians, greedily allowing property values to artificially inflate, filling their pockets while everyday people struggle to pay their bills. New laws went into effect to lower property taxes; the net savings for the average person was $200 a year. Meanwhile the loss to schools, which rely on those taxes for their budget, was 18 million dollars.
